Our Proyector Uri Ariel, in early February 2022, arranged for a special visit of the Israeli Minister of Interior to Mitzpe Yehuda (Givat Adumim).
Ayelet Shaked, the interior Minister was very impressed with the strategic location and the potential for actually building a solid residential city within the perimeters of Greater Jerusalem. She indicated that she will do whatever it takes to advance the infrastructure master plan and to press on with a consensus within the government members to enable a large Orthodox Residental Development in this specific area.
Doron Nir Zvi, the Project attorney was one of the crew members for the visit of the Minister of Housing and Constructions, Zeev Elkin, at Mitzpe Yehuda (Givat Adumim) earlier this month.
The Minister, like Ayelet Shaked, was impressed with the location and confirmed that the Ministry of Housing and Construction is committed to allocating a budget for all the planning of the Master Plan for this Land and allocating much more land owned by the Government to be planned, zoned, and developed in conjunction with Givat Adumim location. The Government's goal is to house almost 50,000 residents in this location to make a periphery outside Jerusalem but still close enough to be part of the Greater Jerusalem area.
